Just imagine a random tweet and someone saying that in real life. "Blog update: blogged on abc xyz" These are things you will never hear in real life. Certain things are said in particular way in twitter/blogs/discussion boards, but the same language and ideas can never be used in real life. That's why I think real life online comparisons are not such a good idea. But hey they can be hilarious. =D I am not a big fan of #followfriday, but I don’t think your offline comparison is apt.
